SHORT FILMS

Since 2001, Vues d'en face organizes a festival which aims to promote cinematographic works presenting LGBTQI characters or themes, and to present French and foreign films ignored by traditional distribution and exploitation channels.

Even if the diffusion of films rarely distributed in France is the 1st ambition of Vues d'en face, it also strongly whishes to contribute to fight against all the discriminations, by the recognition and the respect of the differences, leaning on an exigent programmation.

Opening submissions: January 23, 2023
Final deadline: March 15, 2023 Free
Notification of results: September 1, 2023

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 1st January 2022
2) Maximum duration: 30 min
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: DCP, H264 (.mp4, .mov, .avi, .mkv)
5) Accepted genres: Fiction, documentary, animation, experiemental
6) LGBTQI Themes: Films presenting LGBTQI themes or characters.
7) Subtitles: Non French-speaking films must have French or English subtitles.

Audience awards based on audience votes will be announced after the festival.
