INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION

Opening submissions: February 6, 2023
Final deadline: May 15, 2023 Free
Notification of results: July 31, 2023

Preview format:
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 31st December 2021 (from January 2022)
2) Maximum duration: 50 minutes
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: DCP, ProRes, H264
5) Accepted genres: Animation (all genres and techniques)
6) Language & Subtitles: Films with dialogues and text on screen in a language other than French should ideally be subtitled in French or English. Non-etched versions are preferred for screening.
7) Selection announcement: Mid-July, by email via the Short Film Depot platform. Only selected films will be contacted directly.

SWISS ANIMATION

The official origin of the film is determined by the production company or entity. Animatou only requires that the director or one of the (co-)production entities be a Swiss national or based in Switzerland for a film to qualify to participate in the Swiss Competition.
