SPANISH SHORT FILMS
|
The Soria Short Film Fest aims at promoting short films as an audiovisual form of expression. The festival contributes to its recognition, dissemination and value as an essential means of sharing culture. Considering that short films are at all times CINEMA with capitals letters it considers the short film format as essentially and basically a part of CINEMA.
Participating Shorts must not have been screened at any exhibition, festival inside the province of Soria.

Opening submissions: February 1, 2020
Free earlybird deadline: April 1, 2020 Free
Regular deadline: July 1, 2020 5 EUR
Final deadline: July 31, 2020 10 EUR
Notification of results: September 30, 2020
Preview format:
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: January 1st, 2019
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: Spanish short films
4) Screening format: DCP, digital format
5) Accepted genres: Fiction, Animation or Documentary
Other criteria:
6) SUBTITLES : It is ESSENTIAL Shorts whose original language is not Spanish are sent with optional subtitles in Spanish or in English if not possible.

Directors of selected shorts are invited.
Over 17,000€ are distributed in awards and prizes at the Festival. See regulations for details.
Selection of Shorts will be announced on Festival Website on September 30th, 2019.
