INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: after 31 December 2021
2) Maximum duration: 20 minutes (including credits)
3) Country of production: Worldwide
4) Screening format: DCP, 2K, 25 fps or 24 fps, HD, 25 or 24 fps
5) Accepted genres: Feature films, animated films, or documentaries, as well as their combinations (for art & experimental shorts we have a specific section)

Other criteria:
6) Dialogue language: Dialogue language is not German. For films without dialogue: the production country must not be a German-speaking country
7) Subtitles: All films with dialogue must be subtitled in English.


The program jury reserves the right to move films to other competition categories in justified cases.





GERMAN SPEAKING COMPETITION

Prize Money: €1,000, donated by Gebrüder Peters GmbH

Competition for German spoken short films.

Notification of results: January 31, 2024

6) Subtitles: All films with dialogue must be subtitled in English.
7) Connection to Bavaria or Baden-Württemberg: an evident connection to the federal states of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, for example, production location, content, or biography of the filmmakers
