Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 31.12.2021, no premiere required
2) Maximum duration: 30 min (including credits)
3) Country of production: all countries except Germany; German co-productions are accepted
4) Screening format: 35 mm, DCP
5) Accepted genres: short fiction or animated film (incl. hybrid forms such as AnimaDoc, experimental or documentary fiction)
Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Please also ensure that the films have English subtitles (if the original language is not English). This also applies for German-language productions.

NATIONAL COMPETITION
|
Submissions for the National Competition are automatically in the selection process for the Central German Competition if they are suitable. Suitability is asked in an extra question below.

Pure experimental films are considered for the Special Programmes; for the Competitions hybrid forms such as experimental animation or experimental fiction are eligible.
