SPANISH SHORT FILMS
|
Medina Film Festival is a cultural event that has been presenting to the public the cinematographic trends of the industry for 34 years. Offering a space for reflection and union for short filmmakers, creators, technicians and the public.
Our objective is the creation, promotion, diffusion and recognition of the value of the short film, being also part of the qualifying festivals for the Goya awards, with a long historical journey of awards.
NATIONAL CONDITIONS:
We cover all genres: fiction, documentary, animation. Spanish production and / or direction (Spanish or in original version subtitled in Spanish).
The sections in competition will be: The Official Section and The Other Look.
In which the National, Animation, Documentary, Videoclip, Fantasmedina and Castilla y León contests are included.

Notification of results: February 26, 2021

1) Films completed after: July 1, 2019
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: Spain
4) Screening format: DCP, HD with minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080 -1080p
5) Accepted genres: FICTION - DOCUMENTARY - ANIMATION
IN ANY FORMAT, MUTE OR WITH SOUND
Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films must be presented with audio in Spanish or in the original version in Spanish or English.

CONDITIONS FOR THE INTERNATIONAL:
We cover all genres: fiction, documentary, animation. Shot in any format, silent or with built-in sound.
Production and / or foreign direction (original version subtitled in Spanish).
The sections to contest will be: one to contest / competition and another informative.

Medina Film Festival is a cultural event that has been presenting to the public the cinematographic trends of the industry for 34 years. Offering a space for reflection and union for short filmmakers, creators, technicians and the public.
Our objective is the creation, promotion, dissemination and recognition of the value of the short film and the video clip.
CONDITIONS FOR VIDEOCLIP:
Videoclip created by a Spanish group or soloist. Also a foreign group with headquarters in Spain or made by a Spanish producer / director and with a Spanish team.
After the selection of the committee, the work will be included in the WEB OF THE FESTIVAL for subsequent voting. * See regulations for more details
More than € 1,500 are distributed in prizes and awards (see regulations for more details).
