42ND INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION

The International Short Film Competition of the Festival Tous Courts is open to fiction, animation and documentary lasting no longer than 30 minutes and completed after January 1st 2023.
Prizes awarded (subject to change):
- Grand Prize
- Jury Prize
- Best Screenplay Prize
- Audacity Prize
- Audience Prize
- Youth Jury Prize
- Short film prize of the "Collégiens de Provence" of the Bouches-du-Rhône Department
- Unifrance Prize
- France Télévision Prize


Opening submissions: February 5, 2024
Final deadline: June 17, 2024 Free
Notification of results: October 18, 2024


Preview format:
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 01/01/2023
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: DCP, HD video file
5) Accepted genres: Fiction, animation, documentary

Other criteria:
6) Are not accepted: • Advertising and institutional films, reports, music video clips. • Films that have already been submitted to the Festival Tous Courts panel, including in a new version.
7) Subtitles: For non-French speaking films : English subtitles are mandatory, French subtitles are strongly recommended. For French speaking films, English subtitles are strongly recommended since they will be submitted to the professionals participating in the 26th International Short Film Market.
8) 26th Short Film Market: All the films registered for the competitions will be included in the catalogue of the 26th International Short Film Market.





10TH INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION OF EXPERIMENTAL SHORT FILMS

The International Competition of Experimental Short Film is exclusively open to experimental films lasting no longer than 30 minutes and completed after January 1st 2023.

- Short film prize of the "Collégiens de Provence" of the Bouches-du-Rhône Department
- Unifrance Prize
- France Télévision Prize
