INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM

Now preparing our 11th edition, IndieCork is a festival of independent cinema, in Cork, Ireland. We welcome short-film entries in all genres.IndieCork is Ireland's largest festival for short film, and is a BAFTA nominating festival.

IndieCork is managed and programmed by a team with over 30 years experience in the international film industry. IndieCork is unique in Ireland through our programming of independent short films, documentaries and features - but also our shared ownership structure. IndieCork's Honorary Patron is Ken Loach.

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: October 1st 2021
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: All (except Ireland)
4) Screening format: DCP, Pro Res
5) Accepted genres: All

Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films not in the English language must be available with English subtitles.


As Ireland's largest festival for independent film - we welcome films of all genres - narrative, experimental, animation and new media.

While our competitions are for short film only, we also screen feature length (over 70 mins minimum length) features and documentaries.

IndieCork is Ireland's festival of independent cinema, and the largest festival for short films. We also screen a selected number of features and documentary films.

IndieCork is managed and programmed by a team with over 30 years experience in the international film industry. IndieCork is unique in Ireland through our programming of independent short films, documentaries and features - but also our shared ownership structure. IndieCork's Honorary Patron is Ken Loach.

2) Maximum duration: This competition is for full length feature documentaries (over 70 mins minimum) Documentaries under 30 mins can be entered as short films.
3) Country of production: All
4) Screening format: DCP, Pro Res
5) Accepted genres: Documentary

Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films not in the English language must be available with English subtitles.
7) Duration for feature length documentary: over 70 mins only for this category please, under 30 mins can be entered as a short film, thank you

We welcome films of all genres - narrative, experimental, new media, poetry and dance film, cameraphone, animation. We also screen films of all lengths, but only films under 30 minutes qualify for our short film competitions.
