INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION

Now preparing its 9th edition, IndieCork is a festival of independent cinema, in Cork, Ireland. We welcome short-film entries in all genres.

IndieCork is managed and programmed by a team with over 30 years experience in the international film industry. IndieCork is unique in Ireland through our programming of independent short films, documentaries and features - but also our shared ownership structure. IndieCork's Honorary Patron is Ken Loach.

Opening submissions: December 18, 2020
Regular deadline: July 12, 2021 14 EUR
Final deadline: August 2, 2021 18 EUR
Notification of results: September 14, 2021


Preview format:
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: October 1st 2019
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: All
4) Screening format: DCP, Pro Res
5) Accepted genres: All

Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films not in the English language must be available with English subtitles.


We welcome films of all genres - narrative, experimental, new media, poetry and dance film, cameraphone, animation. We also screen films of all lengths, but only films under 30 minutes qualify for our short film competitions.





DOCUMENTARY PROGRAMME

Now preparing its 9th edition, IndieCork is a festival of independent cinema, in Cork, Ireland. We welcome feature-length documentaries.

IndieCork is managed and programmed by a team with over 30 years experience in the international film industry. IndieCork is unique in Ireland through our programming of independent short films, documentaries and features - but also our shared ownership structure. IndieCork's Honorary Patron is Ken Loach.

1) Films completed after: June 1st 2019
2) Maximum duration: No limit on duration. Documentaries under 30 mins can be entered as short films.
3) Country of production: All
4) Screening format: Pro Res, DCP
5) Accepted genres: Documentary

Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films not in the English language must be available with English subtitles.
