DOCUMENTARY COMPETITION
|
THEME: traveling, the discovery of other populations, other cultures.
Participation in the pre- selection is open to documentaries whose main theme is the journey and the discovery of a people or of another culture , travelers films, adventures and expeditions.
Fiction and experimental films are not accepted .

Opening submissions: July 5, 2017
Final deadline: October 25, 2017 Free
Notification of results: November 16, 2017

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: January 1st 2015
2) Maximum duration: 90 mins max. (minimum duration 26 minutes)
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: Blu-ray, H264, MPEG 2, MP4
5) Accepted genres: Travel Documentary
Other criteria:
6) Number submissions: The number of film submissions is limited to 2 per director.
7) Screening copy: Foreign language films must be sent with French subtitles in case of selection.
8) Uploaded version: For foreign language films, please attach a file of optional subtitles in French.

Selection will be announce in December 2017.
If the documentary is selected, the presence of a representative of the film will be required during the broadcast at the festival 9, 10 and 11 March 2018.
Reimbursement of travel costs + selection prime will be proposed for each film ( limited to 550 euro per film)

2 MINUTES 30 MAXI FAST & CURIOUS
|
Here we are already at the third edition of the challenge FAST and CURIOUS launched in 2016: try, in 2'30 '', to present us a film of travel or around the trip!
2'30 '' is the duration of a song and that's what we expect from you: take us elsewhere for 150 seconds, with your words and your little visual music to you.
It can be a trip to the end of the world like at home, a journey lived as well as an imaginary trip, a film shot with a camera, a phone, an animated film or even still images.
We expect a film that tells us something, a story with a beginning and an end, an original creation that is not simply a juxtaposition of beautiful images or selfies *: a real movie, what.
