FICBUEU 2024 OFFICIAL CATEGORIES
|
The 17th Bueu’s International Film Festival will take place from September 6th – September 22th, 2024. Festival will aim to promote the best short films made in the last two years in the international scene.
Only films completed after 1st January 2023 are eligible for entry into the 2024 Festival competitions. Any producer or filmmaker of any nationality who owns the rights to the films being submitted are eligible for the Official Short Film Competition on the condition that they are over 18 years.
All submitted works in Official Categories will compete for entering the Official Section. Once that section is completed, the remaining sections will be configured:
Galician_00 Section
Discoveries Section
International Cinema Schools Section

Opening submissions: December 15, 2023
Late deadline: March 15, 2024 3 EUR
Final deadline: April 15, 2024 5 EUR
Notification of results: June 30, 2024
Preview format:

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 1st January 2023
2) Maximum duration: 30 minutes
3) Country of production: All countries
4) Screening format: Digital
5) Accepted genres: All genres
Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Short Films must be presented in their original language. If the language is not Spanish or Galician, it must have Spanish, Galician or English subtitles. If it is not possible, the dialog list in Spanish or English must be included attached to your online form.

The selection will be announced by e-mail on June.
