DARE TO BE "GREEN" COMPETITION

Go Debut European Film Festival is a festival which introduces European film debutants through competition programs that are solely based on short film formats.
Go Debut EFF considers film a 'debut film' when director's previous films (if any made,) have not been awarded nor specially mentioned at any festival. Entries will be considered for following categories:
The Innovative films - length 1-5 min.
The Short Film - length 6-15 min.

The Innovative Films and The Short Films represent audiovisual short form categories that are comparable with the problems that Europe is facing at the moment and probably in the nearest future.

The mission of the GoDebut EFF is to introduce to the world new talented European directors, both as makers of short films as well as potential feature film makers. Furthermore with a program called "Dare to be "Green" to evoke awereness on the problems which we, as a human kind are facing more and more ferociously.

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: January 1st, 2020
2) Maximum duration: 15 min
3) Country of production: European countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom (UK)
4) Screening format: MP4 file (more than 25Mbps), AppleProRes422 HQ/LT, H264 file
5) Accepted genres: All genres

Other criteria:
6) No re-entry: : Films previously submitted to the festival cannot be submitted again
7) Dialogues: If the dialogue language is not English, preview copy and screening film must be subtitled in English. Screening film subtitles can not be burned-in; English subtitle file must be added; Dialogue file in English with time code must be added for English spoken films.





EUROPEAN COMPETITION

The Innovative films - length 1-5 min.
The Short Film - length 6-15 min.
The Novellfilm - length 20-30 min.

The Innovative Films and The Short Films represent audiovisual short form categories that are comparable with poems, songs, jokes, short stories, etc in literature.
The Novellfilm is structured like a mini feature film, making this only short film genre to use when the director wants to move on to full length feature films.
The mission of the GoDebut EFF is to introduce to the world new talented European directors, both as makers of short films as well as potential feature film makers.

The selection results will be announced latest by the mid of october, 2021.

3) Country of production: Lithuania*
4) Screening format: H264 file, AppleProRes422 HQ/LT
5) Accepted genres: All genres

Other criteria:
6) Criterias for Lithuanian competition:: Films can competite Lithuanian competition if at least one criteria is fullfilled: Country of production (over 50%) is Lithuania; Nationality of the director is Lithuanian; Original language of the film is Lithuanian.
7) Dialogues: Preview copy and screening film must be subtitled in English. Screening film subtitles can not be burned-in; English subtitle file must be added.
8) No re-entry: Films previously submitted to the festival cannot be submitted again.
