Deadlines:
- EARLYBIRD deadline -> 3 July 2022 for films completed in 2021 (produced between October 1st and December 31st)
- FINAL deadline -> 3 October 2022 for films completed in 2022

Opening submissions: March 26, 2023
Final deadline: October 10, 2023 10 EUR
Notification of results: December 10, 2023

Preview format:
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: January 1st, 2022
2) Maximum duration: 40 minutes
3) Country of production: All countries (except France)
4) Screening format: DCP
5) Accepted genres: All
6) English or french summary: English or french summary is compulsory

The list of the selected films will be available on the Festival's website on December the 15th 2022 at the latest.

All the contacts of the submitted films will be informed by email of the selection results.

3) Country of production: France as main country of production
4) Screening format: DCP
5) Accepted genres: All
6) French summary: French summary is compulsory

POP UP

Le festival du court métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, qui accompagne depuis plus de 40 ans l’émergence du cinéma français et international, s’associe à YouTube pour la création d’un prix du court métrage de fiction issu du web. Ce prix sera remis dans le cadre de la section Pop-Up, qui mettra en avant 5 fictions françaises déjà disponibles sur la plateforme, et seront visibles en ligne sur le site du festival lors de sa prochaine édition qui se tiendra du 27 janvier au 4 février 2023. Le CNC s’associe également à ce prix, en octroyant une bourse CNC / Talents au/à la réalisateur·trice à hauteur de 3000€.
La section Pop-Up est pensée comme une nouvelle fenêtre sur le court venue du web, dans la continuité des actions menées par le festival depuis plusieurs années en direction ou en collaboration avec les créateurs d’Internet. Pop-Up est donc une nouvelle étape dans la volonté du festival de Clermont-Ferrand de créer une passerelle entre cette création numérique émergente et les festivals de cinéma.

Critères d'éligibilité à l'inscription à la section Pop Up :
- produits après le 1er octobre 2021
- fiction en prise de vue continue
- d'une durée inférieure à 60min
- le/la réalisateur·trice doit être français·se
- le film doit être disponible sur YouTube
- le prochain film du/de la réalisateur·trice devra effectuer sa première diffusion (non exclusive) en ligne sur YouTube
