FRANCOPHONE SHORT FILMS COMPETITION
|
This competitive section is open to short films produced in French-speaking countries or areas.
Short films made in Korea by citizens from French-speaking countries are also accepted, even if the language of the dialogues isn’t French.
All short films must also satisfy the other conditions below.

Opening submissions: July 13, 2023
Final deadline: August 21, 2023 Free
Notification of results: September 21, 2023

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: September 2022
2) Maximum duration: 20 minutes (including end credits)
3) Country of production: France and Francophone countries
4) Screening format: DCP, MOV file
5) Accepted genres: Fiction, documentary, animation, experimental
Other criteria:
6) Dialogues: The language of dialogues is expected to be French, but films that have characters speaking different tongues (foreign languages, local dialects), or films without dialogues, aren’t excluded.
7) Subtitles: For selection purposes, we request that your submission file has English subtitles.

Selected films will be allocated between a main section and a young audience section: both will be competitive and deliver awards.
