INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY PROGRAM
|
A selection of beautiful, moving, amazing or groundbreaking documentary films from countries worldwide. Priority will be given to creative and cinematic documentaries, innovative in subject and form.
Submission is open only for short documentary films of maximum 40 minutes (including credits) with a production date no earlier than January 1st 2020. Only 1 film per director!

1) Films completed after: 1 january 2020
2) Maximum duration: 40 minutes
3) Country of production: any country in the world
4) Screening format: .mov (Prores 422), .mov (H264), .mp4
5) Accepted genres: documentary
Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Films must be presented in their original language. If the language is not English or Dutch, it must have English subtitles.
7) DVD: We do not accept previews on DVD.
8) Premiere: No premiere requirements

SPECIAL PROGRAM: WATER
|
Due to our location on a ship and in a water region, our festival has a special focus on water. Submission is open only for documentary films concerning the theme of water. Water as a friend or an enemy. Films about water issues or taking place on or around the water, please surprise us with your view on this theme.
Submission is open only for short documentary films of maximum 40 minutes (including credits) with a production date no earlier than January 1st 2020. Only 1 film per director!

SPECIAL MIDNIGHT PROGRAM: COMIC MOVIES
|
Enjoy the most absurd, crazy and insane short films in this program that completely turn the world upside down. Films that show the absurdity of life, people and our strange habits. Who will make you forget who or where we are for a moment. Films that above all make you laugh uncontrollably.
Submission is open for films of any genre (documentary, fiction or experimental), any production date or any country in the world. Only for films with an absurd, bizarre, comic or twisted vibe. Maximum 20 minutes (including credits). Please surprise us!
