All countries, genres and formats are welcome.

No premiere status is required.

Opening submissions: January 23, 2023
Final deadline: May 29, 2023 8 EUR
Notification of results: October 2, 2023

Preview format:
-Standard DVD
-Uploaded file (1 stamp)

Requirements:
1) Films completed after: 01 January 2021
2) Maximum duration: 20 Minutes
3) Country of production: All
4) Screening format: DCP, ProRes, Quick Time 1080p / h.264
5) Accepted genres: Live action, animation, documentary, experimental, dance, music video, virtual reality & new Media

Other criteria:
6) Subtitles: Subtitles in english or german for films with dialogue in other languages than english or german.

No premiere status necessary for submission / selection.

Entrys will be considered for:
- International Competition
- Documentary Competition
- German Competition
- Eject 'The Long Night of Weird Shorts' Audience Competition
- Green Film Award - Environmental Films
- KUKI 16th Young Short Film Festival Berlin
- and for all other non-competitive festival categories & special programs

A screening fee of EUR 50 will be paid to each film running in a non-competitive program, per non-competitive program (for up to 3 screenings per program respectively).
